How can we help?
Common questions about Gradely, Canvas syncing, your data, and Gradely Pro.
Getting started
You generate a Canvas access token from your own Canvas account settings and enter it into Gradely to authorize the connection. Gradely never sees or stores your Canvas password, only the token you create and share.
Gradely currently supports any school using Canvas. Support for additional platforms, including Blackboard, is planned for a future release.
Gradely mirrors what Canvas reports, plus anything you've added yourself through the what-if calculator. If a grade seems off, check whether a what-if scenario is still applied. Those are clearly marked and never change your real, official grade in Canvas.
Your data & privacy
Yes. Gradely only accesses the course and grade data needed to power the app, doesn't sell your personal information, and stores it securely. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Yes, any time. Delete your account directly in the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account, which immediately erases your data from our server. To revoke Gradely's Canvas access token, go to your Canvas account's Settings → Approved Integrations. Need help with either? Reach out through our Contact page.
Plans & billing
The free version covers the core experience: synced grades and the what-if GPA calculator. Gradely Pro adds extra features on top. See the full breakdown on our Pricing page.
Gradely offers small in-app challenges tied to staying on top of your coursework. Completing them earns in-app rewards. They have no cash value and are meant to make checking in on your grades a little more rewarding.
